The Illest Posse Cut of All Tiiiiiiiiime!!!

This is definitely a homage to the classics but I want to put this in a category by itself. People debate the best posse cut of all time but there is no competition in my mind. It’s Heavy D’s “Don’t Curse.” Yeah that’s right, a Heavy D track. Peep the line up: Heavy D featuring Kool G Rap, Grand Puba, CL Smooth, Big Daddy Kane, and Q-Tip produced by Pete Rock. That is some heat on that track right there. I know others may argue “The Symphony,” “Flava in Ya Ear Remix,” or De La Soul’s “Buddy” as the best posse cut but “Don’t Curse” has everyone rhyming on the SAME topic. Imagine that, a posse cut that’s not a collection of 16′s but has all participants rhyming on the same topic. Novel, I know.
