Jacka’s Tear Gas is a pretty good listen. The Bay has given us maybe two reasons to be excited about them in the last couple of years, and since one of those reasons is Mistah F.A.B., the other one has to be The Jacka of the Mob Figaz. I like Tear Gas for it’s smooth consistency and for the fact that Jacka doesn’t take too many verses off. He still features too many people on his albums, but when there’s hardly any albums dropping in your area, I guess that’s what you have to do.
If you couldn’t tell already, we’re stans for pretty much anything Cormega does over here at WeGoinIN. When I got my copy of Tear Gas, the first track I listened to was “Storm,” which of course features Cormega. Check out the track and don’t sleep on The Jacka. He’s from the Bay but doesn’t sound like the current crop of Bay artists, which is a very good thing for all of us. Jacka and Cormega continuing to work together is also a very good thing for us.
