Yes, it is true. Fat Joe’s music, as of late, has been as sad as trying to watch “2 Girls 1 Cup” on a 56k modem. I know first hand. But, 50, you of all people should not be complaining because my Gerbil (who I sometimes place up my… We won’t go there) had to go to the vet after hearing The Massacre. It is funny that Curtis is still [...]

If Def and Doom collab on a song or better yet, an album, I (as well as others) will definitely shoot a nice glob of man juice on the wall. Tweet

Group Home’s first album is one of my favorite albums of all time. It proves without question the genius of DJ Premier. He laced two mediocre mcs (although I always thought Lil Dap was dope) with disgustingly ill beats and crafted a classic. Supa Star is just such an example. Also, remember when videos were grimy like this? I miss those days. Tweet

Point blank period one of the greatest hip hop videos ever made. It perfectly parodies every stereotypical video convention that exists and proves that The Roots are one of greatest groups of all time. Also Illadelph Halflife is by far their best album. Feel free to debate that but it is a scientific FACT! Tweet

I can only hope Foxy Brown is part of the Wegoinin movement and frequents our humble site. Shout out to her for being mad cool. I had the opportunity to meet her on Saturday night. I was in a liquor store in the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC with 4 fly girls (shout out to myself!) and I was talking about how I drink Henny because rappers do. A guy on [...]

It really boggles my mind that people still find Jay-Z intimidating in the realm of lyrics like he’s some talent to watch out for. I actually heard BP3 and my consensus is that Jay-Z is the most straight forward, bland rapper to be given such high praise. There is nothing creative about what he says and nothing thought provoking. When I hear the lyrics on OB4CL2, I say to myself, [...]

Affion is an extreme talent and I didn’t always think that. I kind of thought he was annoying especially since he was down with Prick Cannon. However, since I have seen his spoofs on Jay, Drake and now Chris Breezy, I can truly say, this man is a genius. I think it’s “all in fun”, but I also think (and maybe this is a stretch) that Affion is truly annoyed [...]

This is the new video for the Swollen Members single “Warrior.” The video definitely fits the content of the song and there are some bad ass broads in the this which I can never hate on. Tweet
