The greatest hip hop love song of all time. No debate needed.
In honor of the memory of one of the greatest of all time, Big Pun. Terror Squad!!
From the second of his incredible Jazzmatazz series, Feel The Music is the perfect blend of Guru’s legendary voice and smoothed out jazz infused beats. RIP Guru, one of the greatest ever! Tweet
It should do any hip hop lover’s heart good to see The Message being performed on a major network. Word to probably the greatest song in hip hop history in my view. Tweet
This video, song and concept is so dope. Check out the visuals from Elzhi’s cover of Nas’s classic record “It Ain’t Hard To Tell”. Download “Elmatic” here =>> www.elzhi.com

In honor of my being in Houston for the weekend, here is a classic Scarface video that never gets old. Scarface is on my top 10 list of greatest MCs of all time and he should be on yours as well. Tweet
This is one of my favorite story telling tracks of all time. The beat is a monster and Mr. Cheeks’ flow is bonkers. Classic material all around Tweet
In honor of Guru. RIP one of the greatest ever! Tweet
Truth be told, I was always more of a De La fan than a Tribe fan. Here’s one of many reasons why. Tweet
This was my shit back in high school! Just straight up ill goodness. Tweet
The Teacher at his absolute finest. It actually pains me that so much of this new generation has no knowledge of the pioneers nor a desire to even know. Damn, I’m sounding old! Tweet
Mic Geronimo’s first album is classic with ridiculous mid-90′s NYC production and a features from Jay-Z and Ja Rule before they blew up. Enjoy this trip down memory lane. Tweet
Spice 1 was and is more gangster and a better rapper than most cats out these days. This should remind everyone why. Tweet
This Mobb Deep in their absolute prime. This has always been one of my favorite joints of theirs and Havoc’s production is amazing. Dark, grimey, and perfect for the winter time laced up in Timbs and North Face jackets. This is from the Sunset Park soundtrack if I recall correctly. Tweet
It’s been a minute since I’ve dropped an homage to the classic video. So for my return here is one of my favorite Pete Rock produced joints, Down with King. Everyone rips it on this and the video is pure 90′s era grit and grime. Fantastic stuff. Tweet
Its back!! Volume 2 of our Homage to the Classics mix is here! DJ Rush Hour brings the heat once again and represents the real. Enjoy! Capone -N- Noreaga- T.O.N.Y. (Top Of New York) (Feat. Tragedy Khadafi) LL Cool J- Who Shot Ya (remix) feat. Fat Joe, Foxy Brown, K. Group Home’s first album is one of my favorite albums of all time. It proves without question the genius of DJ Premier. He laced two mediocre mcs (although I always thought Lil Dap was dope) with disgustingly ill beats and crafted a classic. Supa Star is just such an example. Also, remember when videos were grimy like this? I miss those days. Tweet
Point blank period one of the greatest hip hop videos ever made. It perfectly parodies every stereotypical video convention that exists and proves that The Roots are one of greatest groups of all time. Also Illadelph Halflife is by far their best album. Feel free to debate that but it is a scientific FACT! Tweet
