Somehow a song about how a guy can break into your house, rob you and “eat the bullets that [he] provides” kind of loses it’s “oomph” factor when you got a reggae-style Autotune hook. I really don’t think I have to worry about the “trigger finger” when there’s a Jamaican robot helping make the threats. Middle finger up and thumb down for the pointer finger.

Some rappers, like AZ, Aztek and St. Laz, were able to drop their bars about Auto Tune as soon as Jay dropped his official version. Others, we know, are plotting. Diabolical as that sounds, what’s worse is that most DJs and critics will tell you a verse over “D.O.A.” is played out and that there’s no way you should even think about it, much less do it. We’re not here to discriminate against all those bringing the same damn bag of Doritos to the party. Read on.
