JS-1 goes IN on Common, Onyx, Eminem, MC Serch, Johnny Damon and others. As long as JS-1 keeps talking shit, we’ll keep posting it because even if you don’t agree with everything he’s saying, at least he’s speaking his mind.
Each week we’re asking our favorite hip-hop personalities when exactly it was they pulled out the plastic or threw down crumpled dollar bills for an actual album. You know, those things that come in plastic cases with a little booklet that has lots of misspelled shout outs? Yeah, those things. Here’s round two, featuring Poison Pen, Chali 2na and Lloyd Banks.
If you would have told me eight years ago that I’d be writing about Eminem dissing Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon while talking about his sexual inadequacies, I would have done two things:
1) I would have told you that you were bugging because Eminem would never put that much energy into dissing a singer whose best days were in the ‘90s. And I would have thought Nick Cannon would be completely irrelevant now. Lucky for him his main relevance is coming from being dissed by Eminem.
2) I would have taken steps back then to make sure I never had to do the actual post of this. I would have started putting calls into J and E to be by their computers early Friday so they would have to do this, not me.
*Disclaimer – Tracklist reviews are exactly that – a review of the tracklist. Anything we say about these songs (except for the ones that leaked already) is pure speculation because we haven’t heard it! This is merely an uneducated guess about what the album might sound like. This one is even more complicated because we don’t know what tracks the Alchemist is actually rapping on.Continue reading 'Tracklist Review – Alchemist’s Chemical Warfare'»
Jojo, you know we’ve been cool and all, so I wanna put you on to something. There’s these things called banks. You put your cash in there, they hold it for you AND they actually give you interest (not much) just for holding your money there. You keep going to Gold’s with that duffel and someone’s gonna jack it when you’re in the tanning booth. JJP also says he’s a very loving and sensitive guy and he’s totally not cool with that whole Eminem/step-father shit on Relapse. Anyway, keep doing these video blogs because they’re very entertaining and please find one of those financial institutions.
