It’s official…after all of the buzz and great fan and industry feedback about Hip Hop Artist Plies’ latest single BECKY, which has been his biggest single to date, I’m excited to announce the official release date of his much anticipated 4th album “Goon Affiliated.” Plies’ new album “Goon Affiliated” will drop on Tuesday, October 6th, 2009 and will be available in stores and online! This will be Plies forth album in just two years, which shows his true passion for all of his fans and his extremely high demand.
Plies is definitely in a different place right now in his career and this new album, “Goon Affiliated” is a direct reflection of Plies new era. He has surrounded himself with a completely new team to bring his fans and followers a fresh sound. Plies has handpicked a new group of producers to work with on “Goon Affiliated”; for the first time, he is featuring another artist’s rap feature on his album (which is impressive that he’s been able to sell the amount of albums without the help of a mainstream supporting artist); also, for the first time, he isn’t using the word “real” in his album title. Plies brother “Big Gates,” who’s just been released from federal prison, has also been a huge influence on his new work, even down to naming his forth album “Goon Affiliated.”
