Plies Keeps Ignorance Alive

Plies is having one helluva week. After finally getting a BJ from some chick named Becky, the rapper quoted on Joell Ortiz’s Twitter let go, as Lenny Dykstra would say, $50 large into a crowd. The only thing sillier than that is the press release that alerted me:

“Over the weekend on Saturday June 20th in Atlanta, GA, rap sensation Plies performed at the HOT 107.9 Birthday Bash at Phillips Arena. 50 models identically dressed in “Becky” T shirts and hot pink fitted jeans greeted Plies as he walked on stage, but before starting the show Plies brought out a supersized duffle bag filled with $50,000 and drenched his screaming 22,000 fans with thousands of dollar bills as his hit single “Plenty Money” started playing in the background. The crowd went crazy as the rapper threw hand fulls of cash into the air…”

“50 models identically dressed in ‘Becky’ t-shirts and hot pink fitted jeans.’ Wow. What exactly were they modeling? And what the hell does a Becky t-shirt look like? Is it a huge blowdryer or picture of a brain? How exactly do you appropriately and officially rep gettin’ some head on a t-shirt?

And I’m sure that money was very well-spent. If fans are paying money to get into a Plies concert, they obviously don’t understand the value of a dollar. What better population to give thousands of dollars to than to people who have no concept of what a dollar actually is? I’m still confused that this guy has sold as many CDs as he has, but when I read that there were actually 22,000 people at this concert, it reminds me of an oft-quoted Immortal Technique line:

“If you go platinum, it’s got nothing to do with luck/
It just means that a million people were stupid as fuck.”

In this case, 22,051 people were stupid as fuck. And I’m guessing your modeling career can’t be going too well if you’re willing to wear a Becky shirt with hot pink jeans.

Plies, take your buffoonery and go away.

Rapper Finally Gets to Third Base, Writes Song About It

You’d think that with selling a bunch of albums and all that Plies would be much more accustomed to the ladies. Apparently his work with all the different parts to “Bust It Baby” and mean grimaces into the camera have paid off because it sounds like our buddy finally got a little play from a random female. It must have been really good because he made a song about it. And Plies will not let you leave the song without knowing that receiving oral sex is now known as “Becky.” Peep game lame:

“Just got Becky, I can’t move/
I love Becky, yes I do/
I get Becky I am glue/
Give me Becky, I’ll do you/
You’ll don’t do Becky, bye bye, boo/
I love Becky like my jewels/
You don’t like Becky? You a fool/
Oughta put Becky on the news/
Becky, Becky, she’s so cool/
I don’t get Becky I can’t sleep/
I need Becky ‘fore I beat/
Becky, Becky, marry me.”

This kind of like that moment when Brennan and Dale are sitting at the dinner table for the first time in Step Brothers and Dale’s getting kind of rude so Brennan looks at him and says, “I remember when I had my first beer.” Plies, please, go away.

I don’t want to barrage you with facts here, since this song is already terrible enough, but a recent study shows that oral sex being received by males from the female species is set to decline over 95% while “Becky” is in rotation. With lines like this, it’s no surprise:

“Bad new pussy, ain’t my style/
Fine head, make me smile/
Put that mayonnaise on your child/
Gotta be grown to fuck with Plies.”

Gotta be grown or just sick? Please tell me I just misheard that whole mayonnaise line. Is “mayonnaise” code for “sperm” or is he really making a sandwich out of a kid? I hope it’s one of those times when I’m just not hearing the song right.

And remember: “Becky” = oral sex.
