I have a tendency to be hard on Red Cafe because he has dropped some trash, but I like this. It’s got kind of an old school vibe and I must say as far as commercially viable MCs Fabolous is one of my favorites. He is just straight up entertaining with every verse.

Maino, Papoose, and Red Cafe document how thugs need love too. This is actually dope as far as R&B tinged hip hop tracks are concerned.

I actually kind of like Red Cafe and I’m a big R&B fan (shout outs to the new Maxwell album, one the best releases of any genre this year!) but this is seriously just awful. Oh well, as Jay-Z said “can’t knock the hustle,” so I hope Red Cafe got a fat check for this.

Red Cafe drops two new joints and in doing so reveals his political persuasions. Republicans are generally supporters of the NRA and of big business so with Red’s support of carrying loaded weapons and unfettered capitalism, I feel comfortable assuming he’s down with the party of Lincoln.
