One of the dopest MCs to ever bless the mic, I’m thinking she might be the leader of an obscure poetic cult based on the evidence she’s giving us on this Statik Selektah-produced cut. That being said, where can I sign up?

We didn’t know the master of the horror novel was tackling rap. And that’s a mean 50 Cent plaque Statik has on the wall. Check the 2:30 mark.

I Don’t Know What To Expect From REKS (WGI WORLD PREMIER)

By seven3zero, June 11, 2009 7:31 pm

Here’s a leak off REKS’ upcoming album Rhythmic Eternal King of Suspense coming on Showoff Records sometime later in 2009. Don’t worry, I thought that was the weirdest album title too until I saw it was an acronym for his name. It actually sounds kind of ominous. If I was told I had to meet the Rhythmic Eternal King of Suspense, I would be a little nervous. If you asked me what I thought the Rhythmic Eternal King of Suspense looked like I would picture an old guy with a crown with that same thoughtful yet creepy expression like Joey Greco, the host of Cheaters, always has when someone’s about to officially and publically find out their unattractive partner is bumping uglies with another ugly.

Now it would be completely different if I was going to meet the Rhythmic Eternal King of Surprise, because then I’d just expect an old guy with a crown to pop out of weird places while River Dancing.

Statik Selektah is now on our good side. If he knows what’s good for him, he’ll stay there (we too are going for the ominous vibe here).
