DJ Clientele Knows How to Pay Tribute

When you’re putting together an Uncle Murda mixtape, one thing you can not have is compassion for other human beings. You just can’t. The music won’t allow it. That’s why we’re so shocked when reading this email from DJ Clientele promoting the new Uncle Murda mixtape he put together.

Uncle Murda aka Uncle M,
adds club/gangster to his Street Credentials.
Uncle M, also stands against police brutality.
He got something for the chicks, too.

if you rockin a spot, spin this “bang bang” joint.
RIP Micheal Jackson

the art of MURDA is this summers banger!

This is how it’s done. He was able to pay tribute to a fallen legend without looking like a soft sucka, because then Murda would have to off him with the bullet bullet. You also gotta love how it’s mixed in between demanding that DJ’s play “Bang Bang” and telling us that Uncle Murda’s mixtape is an exceptionally well-crafted piece of music designed to sound good for the duration of the summer. It’s gonna suck in the fall though (fair warning) (we didn’t say that, Murda! We blindly support everything you kill do).

Best Mixtape Cover Ever

We cosign everything Uncle Murda does out of fear. We’re all terrified he’ll show up at our headquarters and do what he does, which I can’t actually say here because you know how the feds are. You do know, right? What makes this cover so great is that it features Uncle Murda standing in front of a burning Blue Hill Ave. while color coordinating his hoodie with the fitted AND still being able to blow smoke out of his mouth. The fire looks mad real, son. I feel like the only thing missing is some kindling and a fire extinguisher, except we all know Uncle Murda can put out fires just by looking at them (and firing bullets into it). This mixtape is well worth your time because, well, it’s Uncle Murda and we have to say that.

No Limit would be very proud of this cover.

Uncle Murda – The Art of Murda Mixtape

For the Love of Uncle Murda

Being that most of the interweb world does not know me, most would describe me as a pretty nice easy going guy. I like animals, flowers, walks on the beach, and sweet talking ladies. With that said however I also harbor a darker side… One that can put people off sometimes. See, I am an unabashed fan of what I like to call “super mega ultra thug shit.” Rappers I put in that category include Maino, Blaq Poet, Freddie Foxxx, and M.O.P. Of late though I have developed a somewhat morbid fascination with Uncle Murda. 730 knows of this all too well. I’ve got an extensive collection of his mixtapes, have read all of his interviews, and even get down on watching his Youtube videos (the ones of him dissing Papoose are classic!)

So what is it about an otherwise well adjusted (people close to me might debate that) and together dude like myself that draws me to the genius that is Uncle Murda? Well for starters duke has mad passion on the mic. Granted this passion involves illegal fire arms, head shots, assaults, robberies, and general debauchery, but it is passion nonetheless. I never dug dudes with too laid back of flows like Mase and Uncle Murda definitely has the opposite flow of that. Second, the Uncle can paint a vivid picture. I’ve never been in a shootout and I intend to stay out of them but I damn sure feel like I’m close to one when I zone out to “Shooting and Missing.” Third, homie makes no bones about who he is what he has done. Now I don’t condone violence generally speaking but if you’re going to live the type of life Murda raps about at least don’t make apologies and accept the consequences of your actions. Fourth and perhaps most importantly, Mr. Murda just gets me amped. I feel like knocking suckers out, taking over the world, and popping bottles with top models all at the same time.

Finally, to those hip hop purists who don’t consider Uncle Murda a real MC, y’all are crazy! If being an MC is connecting to your audience, painting a picture, and getting people hype Uncle Murda is the definition of an MC.

Murda, any chance I can be an honorary GMG member?
